چکیده
The purpose of the work was to study micropermeability between portions restorative materials under different surface preparation in laboratory conditions. Materials and methods. used 50 samples cylindrical with a diameter 5.0 mm height 4.0 mm, divided into five groups 10 each. group 1 consisted two photocomposite without preliminary preparation. 2 were produced from portions, which V generation adhesive system applied. In 3, vertical first portion moistened, performed, second added. 4, polished similar measures taken. Group 5 glass ionomer cement photocomposite. surfaces samples, except for border, isolated, immersed day dye, sprayed depth its penetration estimated through border on cuts points by computer program millimeters. Results discussion. Micropermeability 1.3 ± 0.15 significantly (p<0.05) lowest among all 2. indicator 1.7 an unreliable (p>0.05) difference given indicator, 3 – 1.9 0.18 significant difference, last indicators had them. Significantly highest 4 4.1 points. 5, equal 2.6 0.16 (p<0.05). According analysis image 1, dye deepened 0.55 is reliably indicator. 2, it 1.20 1.31 0.12 (the not significant, p>0.05). higher 2.13 3.65 0.19 highest, exaggerating 6.6 times 1. A high found consisting photocomposite, this should be certain warning, however, clinical conditions, when using open “sandwich technique”, as rule, material overlaps area marking clear materials. Nevertheless, necessary pay special attention formation during direct restoration teeth damage their contact occlusal technique” ensure tightest adhesion somewhat limited visual control. Conclusion. according estimates established any surfaces. case applying

Two-body wear of dental restorative materials.
AIM The aim of this in vitro study was to determine the two-body wear resistance of modern direct dental restorative materials. METHODS Eight standardized specimens were prepared from 14 dental restorative materials (nano-, micro-, hybrid-, macrofilled composites; compomer, silorane, ormocer); a veneering composite (Sinfony) and enamel were used for reference. Vickers hardness (HV) and inorga...
متن کاملFriction and wear of restorative dental materials.
Many different instruments have been developed for the measurement of friction and wear.1-5 Often the instrument was designed to accommodate some particular type of material, environment, or test condition. Studies reported in the dental literature have been limited to wear measurements with simulated toothbrushing methods,6-9 or on prosthetic teeth mounted on an articulator.10 This study will ...
متن کاملSurface finish of dental composite restorative materials.
Five composite filling materials were finished using six finishing procedures currently in clinical use. The average roughness produced by each procedure was measured by means of a Surfanalyzer with four replications for each procedure on each of the five materials. Statistical analysis indicated that finishing with silicon carbide disks produced the smoothest surfaces. Acceptable surfaces were...
متن کاملFluoride - Releasing Dental Restorative Materials : An Update
The fluoride ion has a well-established beneficial role in dentistry in protecting the teeth from assault by caries. It is known to contribute to the dynamic mineralisation process of the natural tooth mineral, and also to become incorporated with the mineral phase, forming a thin layer of fluorapatite. This is more resistant to acid attack than the native hydroxyapatite, hence protects the too...
